Texas High School Basketball - La Vernia overwhelms Smithville

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX) and the visiting Smithville Tigers (Smithville, TX), saw La Vernia's basketball squad wallop Smithville by a count of 95-37.

With the victory, La Vernia upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Southwest (San Antonio, TX) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Southwest won 33-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Bandera (Bandera, TX)
