In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), by a margin of 62-29.
The Lancers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Urbana (Ijamsville, MD). The Hawks go into the Central Maryland outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Urbana was trounced by Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD), 50-19, in a non-league outing.
The Cavaliers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Catoctin for a Central Maryland outing on Friday, January 12.
