Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 22-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lunenburg Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chargers travel to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Buckingham lost 30-26 in their recent non-league bout against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Goochland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Fighting Hornets go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 36-32 non-league win over Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA).
