Marin Academy Wildcats (San Rafael, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Novato Hornets (Novato, CA), 38-36 in a non-league test.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Lick-Wilmerding (San Francisco, CA). The Tigers go into the test with a 5-0 record.

The Hornets now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to San Domenico for a non-league test on Thursday, December 7. Novato will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 28-21 non-league win over San Rafael (San Rafael, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
