Patrick Henry Patriots (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), 49-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Patrick Henry upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Monarchs play the Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Monte Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 45-27 non-league win over El Capitan (Lakeside, CA).
