In Tuesday's non-league outing, the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) basketball squad edged the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), by a margin of 39-35.
The Wonders (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Central Academy was tipped by Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 54-36, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Concord for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8. Mount Pleasant will clash with a Spiders squad coming off a 48-27 non-league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 3-1.
