University Eagles (Ferndale, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bishop Foley Ventures (Madison Heights, MI), 47-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles host Southfield Christian (Southfield, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Ventures play the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes (Bloomfield Hills, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Bishop Foley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
