The Devine Warhorses basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Hondo Owls to 37 in the Warhorses non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Warhorses now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bandera for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Devine will battle a BULLDOGS team coming off a 64-45 non-league loss to Medina Valley (Castroville, TX). The BULLDOGS record now stands at 0-1.

The Owls (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Pleasanton prevailed over Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX), 76-32, in a non-league contest.
