Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pinecrest Academy Paladins (Cumming, GA), 43-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lakeview Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Athens Christian (Athens, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Paladins play the Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights (Sugar Hill, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Pinecrest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Knights come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 59-27 non-league win over HALO (Bishop, GA).
