River View Panthers (Kennewick, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mabton Vikings (Mabton, WA), 48-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, River View upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cle Elum-Roslyn (Cle Elum, WA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Cle Elum-Roslyn lost 67-20 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia (Burbank, WA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Colfax Bulldogs (Colfax, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Mabton will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 63-31 non-league win over Clarkston (Clarkston, WA).
