The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL) and the host Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), observed Thornton Fractional North's basketball team overcome Argo by a margin of 67-52.

The Meteors (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Rams come into the South Suburban challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Reavis dropped by Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL), 54-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Argonauts battle the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. Argo will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 72-35 non-league win over Hancock (Chicago, IL).
