In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Red Lake County Central Mustangs basketball team scored a big 92-53 triumph over the Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN). The Green Wave go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, East Grand Forks smashed Thief River Falls (Thief River Falls, MN), 77-69, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Gators battle the Warroad Warriors (Warroad, MN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9. Badger/Greenbush-Middle River will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
