In Thursday's non-league test, the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders (Spruce Pine, NC), by a score of 75-36.

Next, the Gryphons clash with the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, December 11. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 80-47 non-league loss to West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC).

The Crusaders (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Veritas Christian Academy bounced Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC), 57-55, in a league test.
