Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs (Lexington, KY), 61-60 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Bluegrass United advances its record to 2-3 on the year. The Bluehawks travel to Garrard County (Lancaster, KY) to meet the Golden Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Golden Lions enter the match with a record of 2-1. Garrard County lost 48-44 in their recent non-league match against Wayne County (Monticello, KY)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryan Station for a non-league match on Friday, December 6.
