In Thursday's non-league test, the Brandon/Evansville Chargers (Brandon, MN) basketball squad got by the host Upsala Cardinals (Upsala, MN), by a final score of 61-56.

Next, the Chargers clash with the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN) in a A Section 6 test, on Saturday, December 7. Brandon/Evansville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 64-47 non-league loss to Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN).
