In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Brookfield Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 51-48 triumph over the Knox County Eagles.
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Putnam County (Unionville, MO). The Midgets go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Putnam County was tipped by Scotland County (Memphis, MO), 60-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Clark County Indians (Kahoka, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9. Knox County will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 61-52 non-league loss to Schuyler County (Lancaster, MO).
