In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Community Braves basketball team scored a close 53-51 win over the Longview Lobos.
The Braves (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Gorman (Tyler, TX). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Bishop Gorman tipped Pine Tree (Longview, TX), 61-52, in a non-league battle.
The Lobos now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Tree for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. Longview will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 61-52 non-league loss to Bishop Gorman (Tyler, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 3-5.
