The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID) and the host Harper Hornets (Harper, OR), observed Council's basketball team overwhelm Harper by a score of 81-34.

The Lumberjacks (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ontario (Ontario, OR). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Ontario was routed by Weiser (Weiser, ID), 84-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Notus Pirates (Notus, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Harper will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 44-39 non-league win over Jordan Valley (Jordan Valley, OR).
