Arkansas High School Basketball - Crowley's Ridge Academy holds off Newport

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Crowley's Ridge Academy Falcons basketball team scored a close 48-42 triumph over the Newport Greyhounds.
The Falcons (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR). The Screamin Eagles go into the 1A Region 3 contest with a 7-7 record.
In their next game, the Greyhounds confront the Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Newport will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.
