The El Capitan Gauchos basketball team scored 80 points and limited the host Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves to 48 in the Gauchos non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Gauchos now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Rodriguez for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. El Capitan will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 60-47 non-league win over American Canyon (American Canyon, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Whitney (Rocklin, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 1-0. Whitney won 67-45 in their recent non-league game against Oakdale (Oakdale, CA)
