Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they saw their basketball team nip the host Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL), 78-74 in a non-league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Northridge for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Lutheran will play a Knights team coming off a 52-36 non-league win over Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Knights record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Johnsburg falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL) to play the Rockets in a Kishwaukee River bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Richmond-Burton won 66-29 in their recent non-league bout against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL)
