The Poinciana Eagles basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Lake Nona Lions to 45 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Bishop Moore for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Poinciana will confront a Hornets team coming off a 52-49 non-league loss to Lake Brantley (Altamonte Springs, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Lake Nona falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Innovation (Orlando, FL) to confront the Bulls in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Bulls go into the game with a record of 0-5.
