The Lamar Vikings basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Midland Bulldogs to 42 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Weatherford for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Lamar will confront a Kangaroos team coming off a 74-64 non-league win over Venus (Venus, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Midland falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Saginaw (Saginaw, TX) to confront the Rough Riders in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Rough Riders go into the game with a record of 3-5. Saginaw lost 67-62 in their recent non-league game against Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX)
