The Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA), 76-53 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Indians now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Abington Heights for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Shamokin Area will play a Comets team coming off a 80-54 non-league win over Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Comets record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Lewisburg falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Green dragons travel to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-2. North Schuylkill lost 46-27 in their recent league bout against Panther Valley (Lansford, PA)
