The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Liberty Hurricanes (Bethlehem, PA) and the host Whitehall Zephyrs (Whitehall, PA), observed Liberty's basketball team edge Whitehall by a margin of 45-40.

The Hurricanes (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson (West Lawn, PA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Wilson edged Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA), 64-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Zephyrs battle the Parkland Trojans (Allentown, PA) in a Lehigh Valley challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Whitehall will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 52-41 non-league win over Spring-Ford (Royersford, PA).
