The St. Laurence Vikings basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Providence Catholic Celtics to 38 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln Park for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. St. Laurence will confront a Lions team coming off a 74-71 league win over Whitney Young (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Providence Catholic falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Celtics travel to Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL) to confront the Caravan in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Caravan go into the game with a record of 4-0. Chicago Mt. Carmel won 63-47 in their recent non-league game against New Trier (Winnetka, IL)
