The Kewanee Boilermakers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers to 53 in the Boilermakers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Boilermakers now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bureau Valley for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, LaSalle-Peru falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Rochelle (Rochelle, IL) to play the Hubs in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Hubs go into the game with a record of 1-0. Rochelle won 40-36 in their recent non-league game against Sycamore (Sycamore, IL)
