Arizona High School Basketball - Sunnyside trounced by Mountain Ridge

Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ), 64-24 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mountain Ridge advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Mountain Lions travel to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-0. Willow Canyon won 76-53 in their recent non-league match against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ)

The Blue Devils now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mica Mountain for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19.
