The Rio Rancho Rams basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host St. Pius X Sartans to 51 in the Rams non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rams now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Eldorado for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Rio Rancho will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 67-50 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, St. Pius X falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Sartans host Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sundevils in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. The Sundevils go into the game with a record of 0-0.
