Penncrest Lions (Media, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Academy Park Knights (Sharon Hill, PA), 47-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Penncrest advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA) to face the Panthers in a Central match on Tuesday, December 10. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Knights now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Unionville for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Academy Park will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 47-38 non-league win over Central Bucks West (Doylestown, PA). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-0.
