Maryland High School Basketball - Atholton holds off Mt. Hebron

In Thursday's league contest, the host Atholton Raiders basketball team scored a close 42-37 triumph over the Mt. Hebron Vikings.

The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Wildecats go into the Howard County contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Wilde Lake nipped Guilford Park (Jessup, MD), 54-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County contest, on Monday, December 9. Mt. Hebron will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
