The Sun Valley Vanguards basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Avon Grove Red Devils to 38 in the Vanguards non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vanguards now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Glasgow for a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. Sun Valley will confront a Dragons team coming off a 62-58 league win over McKean (Wilmington, DE). The Dragons record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Avon Grove falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Red devils host Henderson (West Chester, PA) to confront the Warriors in a Ches-Mont - National game on Tuesday, December 10. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 0-1.
