Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball team knock off the host Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA), 63-43 in a non-league challenge.

The Kittens (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Fontainebleau was knocked off by Walker (Walker, LA), 68-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Buccaneers encounter the Hamilton Christian Warriors (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Barbe will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 35-34 non-league loss to Pickering (Leesville, LA).
