The Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) basketball were winner over the host Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX), 39-25 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Young Women's Leadership Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 5.

With the loss, Lake View falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Peaster (Peaster, TX) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 13-0. Peaster won 41-18 in their recent non-league bout against Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX)
