In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Chapel Hill Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 58-29 triumph over the Elkhart Elks.
The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Gators go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Dickinson was trounced by Alief Taylor (Houston, TX), 90-54, in a non-league battle.
The Elks now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rusk for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 5. Elkhart will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 65-64 non-league loss to LaPoynor (LaRue, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-7.
