In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 29-25 triumph over the Crescent City Christian Pioneers.

The Bulldogs (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Belle Chasse was tipped by Phoenix (Braithwaite, LA), 54-29, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA) in a 1A District 10 contest, on Wednesday, December 11. Crescent City Christian will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 69-29 non-league loss to Amite (Amite, LA).
