The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL) and the host Farina South Central Cougars (Farina, IL), observed Webber's basketball team overwhelm Farina South Central by a margin of 70-43.
The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Brownstown (Brownstown, IL). The Bombers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Brownstown trounced Dieterich (Dieterich, IL), 55-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Neoga Indians (Neoga, IL) in a National Trail match, on Monday, December 9. Farina South Central will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 48-45 league loss to North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL).
