In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Ponder Lions basketball team scored a good 52-34 triumph over the Liberty Christian Warriors.

The Lions (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against John Paul II (Plano, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, John Paul II was topped by Dallas HSAA (Plano, TX), 57-44, in a non-league contest.
