The Lyons Lions basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack to 39 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now have a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Maine South for a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. Lyons will confront a Hawks team coming off a 65-38 league win over Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Saint Ignatius College Prep falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to confront the Celtics in a Girls Catholic - Red game on Saturday, December 7. The Celtics go into the game with a record of 3-3. Providence Catholic lost 65-34 in their recent league game against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL)
