The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA) and the host Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA), observed Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute's basketball team overwhelm Tri-Center by a margin of 59-35.

The (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Spartans come into the Western Valley - North challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, West Monona was trounced by Woodbine (Woodbine, IA), 75-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Tri-Center will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
