The Bethel Bruins basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Menchville Monarchs to 30 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bruins now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Woodside for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Bethel will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 36-33 non-league loss to Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Menchville falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Warwick (Newport News, VA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 1-1. Warwick 26-26 in their recent non-league game against Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA)
