The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) and the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), observed Concord's basketball team knock off Mount Pleasant by a score of 26-17.
The Spiders (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, South Rowan prevailed over Robinson (Concord, NC), 22-17, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Mount Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
