In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Buffalo Bison ice hockey team scored a close 5-1 victory over the Chaska Hawks.
The Bison (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Hopkins by St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN), 8-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks play the Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) in a Missota contest, on Thursday, December 12. Chaska will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Stars enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Woodbury (Woodbury, MN).
