In Thursday's non-league contest, the host St. Louis Park Orioles ice hockey team scored a close 8-1 victory over the Hopkins Royals.
The Orioles (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Blake (Minneapolis, MN). The Bears go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Blake was routed by St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN), 4-1, in a non-league contest.
