South Spartans (Torrance, CA) followers went home happy Thursday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA), 7-0 in a non-league battle.

The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Bishop Montgomery tipped Crespi (Encino, CA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
