Amherst Bulldogs (Amherst, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM), 52-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Amherst advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Elida (Elida, NM) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-1. Elida lost 48-44 in their recent non-league match against Clayton (Clayton, NM)
