The Elkhart Elks basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Apple Springs Eagles to 44 in the Elks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Elks now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cayuga for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 9. Elkhart will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 67-65 non-league loss to Leon (Jewett, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.

The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Chester (Chester, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league outing with a 1-3 record.
