    • Kansas High School Basketball - Mission Valley overwhelms Council Grove

    December 5, 2025: Eskridge, KS 66423

    The Mission Valley Vikings basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Council Grove Braves to 38 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

    The Vikings now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Anderson County for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Mission Valley will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-55 league loss to Iola (Iola, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.

    With the loss, Council Grove falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Braves host West Franklin (Pomona, KS) to clash with the Falcons in a Flint Hills outing on Thursday, December 18. The Falcons enter the outing with a record of 0-1.
