Texas High School Basketball - Crockett holds off Taylor

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Crockett Cougars basketball team scored a close 47-45 triumph over the Taylor Ducks.

The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Caney Creek nipped Travis (Austin, TX), 88-38, in a non-league match.

The Ducks now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Travis for a non-league match on Friday, December 5. Taylor will face a Rebels squad coming off a 88-38 non-league loss to Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 3-3.
