California High School Basketball - Desert trounced by West

December 5, 2025: Edwards AFB, CA 93523

The Desert Scorpions basketball squad (Edwards AFB, CA), was crushed 77-23 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting West Vikings (Bakersfield, CA)

With the victory, West advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Arvin (Arvin, CA) to meet the Bears in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 6. The Bears enter the battle with a record of 0-4. Arvin lost 50-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Lone Pine (Lone Pine, CA)

In their next game, the Scorpions encounter the Rosamond Roadrunners (Rosamond, CA) in a High Desert challenge, on Wednesday, December 10. Desert will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
